Swampland conjectures in hybrid metric-Palatini gravity

چکیده

In this paper, we study a hybrid combination of Einstein–Hilbert action with curvature scalar R, and function f(R) in Palatini gravity within the context inflationary scenario, from Swampland conjecture point view. This model has been paid attention recent cosmological studies, its applications have widely studied literature. regard, using (using (C1) as first component dS swampland conjecture, which is obtained derivative potential upon (C2) second acquired potential), investigate implications present theory, suitable potential, framework scenario to obtain quantities such slow-roll parameter, spectral index (ns), tensor-to-scalar ratio (rs), then compare them observations. Moreover, compatibility or incompatibility observable data, Planck, by applying rs?ns, C1,2?ns C1,2?rs plots.

Extension of the EGS theorem to metric and Palatini f(R) gravity

By using the equivalence between metric and Palatini f(R) (or “modified”) gravities with ω = 0,−3/2 Brans-Dicke theories, it is shown that the EhlersGeren-Sachs theorem of general relativity is extended to modified gravity. In the case of metric f(R) gravity studied before, this agrees with previous literature.
